The Shin-Etsu Polymer Group has long been engaged in sustainability activities through its departments and Group companies. In fiscal 2021, the CSR Promotion Committee was renamed to the Sustainability Committee to further strengthen the Group’s promotion of sustainability manage- ment with a view to realizing a sustainable society and business activities. Under this framework, we are carrying out initiatives across the whole Group towards finding solutions to environmental and social issues including climate-related risks and opportunities.
