Establishment of Suppliers Hotline

The Shin-Etsu Polymer Group has established a "Suppliers Hotline" as a point of contact for business partners to report violations of laws, regulations or rules by directors, officers or employees of each Group company.
The purpose of the Hotline is to ensure transparency and fairness in transactions between the Shin-Etsu Polymer Group and its business partners, and to maintain and develop business relationships.

Reception details

  • If you become aware of any conduct (or suspected conduct) by a director, officer or employee of any Group company that is in violation of laws, regulations or rules, please fill out the form with specific information and submit it to the "Suppliers Hotline."
  • However, please refrain from providing information for the purpose of gaining benefits falsely or fraudulently, for the purpose of causing damage by slandering others, or for any other improper purpose.

Response to reports

  • We will handle the contents of the report carefully and investigate the facts. If corrective measures are required as a result of the investigation, we will respond appropriately and promptly. We may ask for your cooperation in fact-finding investigations.
  • In addition, the contents of the report will not be disclosed to anyone other than the relevant parties.
  • Please note that we will not report the results of our response individually unless we deem it necessary.
  • The Shin-Etsu Polymer Group will not treat the business partner who made the report disadvantageously because of the report itself. (We ask business partners to similarly take care not to treat the whistleblower disadvantageously because of the report.) However, in the case of fraudulent reporting, etc., or if the reporting customer is involved in a violation, protection may not be provided.
