Shin-Etsu Mille-tint Film characteristics "Shin-Etsu Mille-tint Film" is a mirror surfice film for insertion molding and for heat molding to witch complex processes are applied using LCS (Laminate Calendar System)tecnology, whitch represents original tecnology in mirror surface processing. This pre-colored film provides a mirror-finished molding with a luxury appearance, eliminating the need for mirror-finishing by color coating after molding. Characteristics of film (1) Excellent UV Ray resistant and scratch resistant. (2) There is no change in the glossiness after molding, because of an excellent feature of the heat resisntant mirror surface that results in maintaining a high grade and a fresh, neat impression. (3) High formability. (4) Adhension of resin film in the lowest layer to the injection molding resin is excellent. 2. Notable features of the injection-molded sample (1) It is unnecessary mirror-finishing by color coating. (2) Heat ersistant of the mirror surface of the film is excellent. (Under continuous heat test at 100 degrees.) (3) Paritial trimming can be applied. (Insertion molding sample) (4) It is unnecessary to color the injection molding resin.
